M.E.D. Community Thrift Store specializing in new and slightly used household items, furniture and quality clothing items for the entire family. We carry affordable merchandise that appeal to men, women, and children. In addition, we will be a re-source that will also address other needs in the community in a variety of areas for its diverse citizens. We intend to be an establishment where people can not only come to improve their outward appearance but where they can also come and get information and become involved in activities that will address their other needs as well. Things like health and wellness: education and training, and personal development will all have a place in the work we do at the Thrift store. The needs of small communities like Four Oaks are changing. Though the economy appears to be getting better, there are still many individuals and families that are not only struggling financially but also struggling with broken spirits and a sense of hopelessness. We want to be a resource in this community that goes beyond dealing with our customers as just a business trans-action. By providing information, events and activities that can truly help make its residents better. We know ultimately we will be helping Four Oaks to be a better community.
